Custom Burial Urn

Talk about the unusual. While we have never been asked to make a casket, we have made several burial urns. Always required on an urgent basis!

Several stories are interesting:

He was a woodworker by hobbist and the family wanted a real walnut urn.

He had an urn made for his wife to fit a particular niche, but when he passed away there was no longer enough space for his urn. He was big. We designed and made a "duplex urn" with side-to-side compartments that did fit into the niche.

The typical cost is $550 to $880 averaging $770 made and finished, using brass screws and solid hardwood oak, walnut, or cherry lumber with Danish oil finish.
