Furniture & Antique Reupholstery and Upholstery Restoration

We SPECIALIZE in FULL wood, finish, padding, and upholstery RESTORATION.

That means we tear the old upholstered item down to its wood frame and springs
and nothing else.
We rebuild, refinish and restore upholstery from the springs up.

We DO NOT "just wrap fabric" or "re-stuff sofa cushions".

IF we are refinishing your dining chairs,
then we properly re-pad and re-cover the cushions with dust covered bottoms.
(2 minimum)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. We schedule a batch for items that meet "PROJECT IN BY" generally the first full Friday of each month.
  2. Items will be completed 5 or 10 weeks later on SECOND FRIDAY.
  3. Larger projects like refinishing an entire dining room set or bedroom set may require a double period or 10 weeks to complete, based on other workloads.
  4. Major upholstery rebuilding from "springs up" is the same. Upholstery that requires some wood repair, stripping and refinishing of the wood, and then upholstery requires the double period.

WANT A BID? A picture is worth a thousand words!

IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION AND A COUPLE OF PHOTOS:
Send us an email and attach your photos. Remember to include your question or description of your problem.

Please include in your email:

• Name
• Email Address
• Billing Address
• City, State, Zip Code
• Daytime Telephone
• Alternate Telephone
• Question or Description of your problem

Note: Please attach photos to your email. Do not Copy & Paste them into the body of the email. We will not see them.

WHEN TAKING PHOTOS OF YOUR ITEM FOR YOUR EMAIL INQUIRY:

  1. Have good lighting and move closer to the item. Folks tend to stand too far away.
  2. Mark the damages or special aspects with something like masking tape.
  3. Take an overall photo of the whole item. For example, the dining table.
  4. Take a close-up photo of any special areas. For example, the gouge to the top.
  5. Take photos from various angles. For example, from the left and from the right or from opposite side of table since light reflection "plays tricks".
    FOR UPHOLSTERED ITEMS:
Take a picture from the front also showing a side, then take a picture from the back also showing the other side. Take a picture of the area below any removable pad. Take a picture of the bottom springs area of the item after pulling back the probably old cambric dust cover. Take a close up of any details or repairs needed. It is that simple.

Notes:

1)Please attach photos to your email. Do not Copy & Paste them into the body of the email. We will not see them.

2)CELL PHONE CAMERAS: It is really much better if you will transfer your camera photos to your laptop or desktop computer and then email to us as attachments. Sending from the cell phone usually puts them in the body of the email and makes very restricted for analysis.

We must advise that bids for REUPHOLSTERY from emailed pictures are only approximate until the actual items is seen.

Furthermore, a bid to REUPHOLSTER does not include any physical wood repairs, such as the concealed basic frame work or the tacking area that might have been tacked one too many times. They will be quoted only upon actual inspection.

We do our best to respond to emails as quickly as possible but be aware that it may take one or two days before you receive a response to your inquiry. IF you don't hear from us, please follow up with a phone call or send a second inquiry.

You can answer most of these questions yourself. Use our yardage chart for standard small patterns, use our pricing guidelines with their yardage estimates

Our reupholstery program makes it easier than ever to have your fabric furnishings beautifully restored .

A client brought this chair in to be re-upholstered. It had belonged to a "favorite aunt" and she remembered it well from Sunday visits, as a child.

When we removed all of the old fabric we found this "cornucopia" pattern underneath.
What a nice Surprise — and Memory!

What can we do for you?

Don't believe us?
Review our extensive Gallery and decide for yourself.

Picking your custom fabric is a difficult decision. There are literally hundreds of sample books available and they just can't all be reviewed.

REVIEW OUR "TOP 25" BOOKS: We have available the 25 "most chosen" fabric sample books collection from which you can choose. The books are generally organized by color. They are top quality from Greenhouse Design and include choices that meet your needs 95% of the tie. We'll then order, use the fabric, guarantee we have enough, and guarantee its quality.

OR go to http://www.greenhousefabrics.com for a thorough review of the 100s let alone 1000s of fabrics available. IF you find what you are interested in make careful note of its item number and exact name. You can assume most fabrics are about $40/yard. We'll order them for you.

OUR FABRIC VS YOURS: We include our fabric in your bid which also includes the materials and supplies to redo your item. We do not guarantee your fabric and do not give credit for using it.

OR, You can determine yourself how much yardage you need per our standard yardage chart, find your own fabric, bring your items to our location, let us restore your upholstery, then pickup your items at our location.  We recommend you get at least an extra yard for safety, if any extra we'll make arm covers for you..
Use our yardage chart for standard small patterns, use our pricing guidelines with their yardage estimates.
Understand that your item may require new/additional foam or other aspects at additional cost when it is actually being worked on.
