QUANTITY

• Minimum Order: Orders for less than $500 have a surcharge of 10%.
• Pairs: Shutter panels are priced and sold in pairs.
  • Split Pair: single panels are available. A surcharge will apply depending on how many other panels you order.
• Bahama Shutters: Shutter panels are priced and sold per each. Although made up of two panels and priced accordingly.
  Example: 48" wide Bahama = 24" pair price plus $100.00 Bahama construction fee.

MEASURING

• Your Homework:
  • Room/Window Location Indicate the window location.
• Measurements
  • Opening Width: Window openings are not always perfectly square.
    Measure the shutter pocket/opening width at the top and bottom of the window.
    Record smaller dimension
  • Opening Height: Measure the shutter pocket/opening height at the left and right sides of the window.
    Record smaller dimension.
  • Shutter Width: Allow for clearances and overlaps. Record panel width desired.
    • It is NOT required that panels always be half of the shutter pocket width. They may involve double windows, look too large compared to other windows, have down spouts or other windows in the way, etc.
    • Notice the picture at the bottom of this page for how to request a bid. Note that the double wide windows have panels that are not 1/2 of the total width because if they did they would look too massive.
  • Shutter Height: Allow for clearance (generally 1/2" off pocket length).

STYLE SELECTION PRICE COMPARISON

• The price per square foot per style of panel selected does NOT stay the same for all sizes within each style..
• Smaller sizes are more per square foot than larger, but as panels get really large the price again grows per square foot due to need to utilize longer materials, etc.
• Each style has its own level of construction, best serves certain functions, and provides a "look".
• Hypothetically, if one chose a pair of panels 20" x 72" ( a common size) and looked up the prices for all styles, you would find this pricing comparison per square foot of A panel (the 20x72 sizing is 10 square feet):

CRATING AND FOB SHIPPING:

• Almost all shipments are made by freight truck. They are crated for protection.
• FOB Shipping Charges: There is FREE SHIPPING to 48 US states for any size order of normal sized panels with standard delivery.
• Unusual delivery requirements should be identified before hand. Long driveways and steep inclines aren't compatiblity with a pallet load of heavy shutters.
• Basically, the delivery is to your driveway/curb/dock. Any special delivery or handling charges are NOT included. Think ahead!
  A time to address special requirements is when the trucking company calls to arrange the delivery.
  

EXTERIOR SHUTTER PRICING: TERMS & CONDITIONS

WARRANTIES

Manufacturer Defects: Company warrants its Western Red Cedar shutters against any manufacturer defect in construction for the life of the shutter. Other wood species are warranted for 90 days. Warranty covers the raw shutter; it does not cover any cost incurred in the finishing or hanging of the shutter.

Finishing: Factory painted finishes are warranted for a period of three years from the date of purchase against peeling or flaking when properly installed. Note: Some fading or loss of sheen is considered normal wear and is not covered under this warranty.

Purchaser Responsibility: For warranty to be valid, the purchaser must request a return authorization for the defective goods. Once the product is returned and the manufacturer has inspected and confirmed that the problem is manufacturer defect, the customer will be given replacement shutters. No credits will be issued.

• All sales are final.
• Orders accepted are non-cancelable except with our prior, written consent and are subject to a service charge as expressed in such consent.
• Shipping and Handling charges apply to destinations with the 48 contiguous United Sates.
• Buyer is responsible for additional delivery fees or surcharges on orders requiring special shipping, packing and/or direct delivery.

RETURNS

1. Dealer must have a Return Authorization Number from Company to return goods.
   Returned merchandise will not be accepted without a Return Authorization Number.
2. All claims for manufacturing defects must be filed within 30 days of billing.
3. Returned items must be in original shipping and packing cartons.
4. Return Authorization Number must be on outside of return shipping carton.
5. Goods must be shipped within 15 days of the Return Authorization date.
   Note: All authorized returns may be subject to a restocking fee to cover handling expenses

DAMAGES/SHORTAGES

Company carefully packages all shipments to minimize damages in transit, but occasionally some damage may occur. We suggest the following procedures:

1. Please note "Pending Inspection" if not inspected at the time of receipt. If damage is suspected make a note on the Bill of Lading before signing.
2. Unpack the shipment as soon as possible and inspect for damage. If damage is found, notify Company within 48 hours.
   Document damages to the shipping crate and/or shutter panels with digital picturs.
3. Damaged goods may not be returned without prior authorization from Company.
