The 1 3/8" Recessed Stile & Rail Heavy-Duty shutter line offers a world of custom options. Louver angles, spacing, etc. All exterior louvered shutter lines can be crossed with their sister panel shutter, to create louver panel combinations in all five panel variations. We offer the widest exterior shutter louver selection of any shutter company. Over the years customers have requested hundreds of variations, but this collection is what we consider to be the most popular.
The Traditional louver is offered in a wide variety of sizes. The European design was inspired while collaborating with a Tuscan shutter manufacturer. This design has the feel and look of the classic wooden shutters seen throughout Europe.

Our choice material. Naturally decay resistant, light weight, straight and it has the lowest expansion ratio of any species. The tight grain of old growth Western red is unmatched. FSC certified sustainable.

EXTERIOR SHUTTER FINISHING OPTIONS

Option 1: Spray Primed.
Each shutter is sanded and sprayed with a quality oil-based primer. Additional light sanding is required prior to finishing.
Option 2: Primed and Finished*
Each shutter is sanded, primed with two coats of oil-based primer and sanded again. Then the shutters are finished with a top quality exterior paint of your choice.
*All color finishes may be matched to your national brand of paint by supplying the manufacturer's name and color number or code.

Shutters are constructed with two equal sections unless otherwise specified.
For shutter heights over 65", two section construction is recommended.
Prices are for CLEAR (no fingerjoints) Western Red Cedar; for select grain STAIN-GRADE with no filler add 10%.
