A TRUE STORY OF HOW WE CAME TO DO WHAT WE DO:
The very first project we ever did goes something like this:
A mother with two 3 or 4 year olds came in one Monday morning with the kids hanging onto her looking scared. I tried to set them at ease.
She said Daddy had taken them all that weekend to look for a puppy.
He had said that “Now kids, If that puppy chews anything he is a goner.”
They knew what she was saying. The girl started crying.
It seems on Sunday evening the puppy had been put in his study for the night.
Dad was running late Monday morning and left in a hurry for the airport.
After the family had gotten him on his way, they went into the study together to get the puppy to play with. Somehow the puppy had gotten on dad’s favorite chair.
Yep, he had badly chewed the wood arm.
The question was simple: Could we fix before Dad returned Thursday evening?
Without being sure of how we’d do it, we just did.
In the endf, we saved the puppy, the chair, the kids, AND Dad.

WHEN TAKING PHOTOS OF YOUR ITEM FOR YOUR EMAIL INQUIRY:
- Have good lighting and move closer to the item. Folks tend to stand too far away.
- Mark the damages or special aspects with something like masking tape.
- Take an overall photo of the whole item. For example, the dining table.
- Take a close-up photo of any special areas. For example, the gouge to the top.
- Take photos from various angles. For example, from the left and from the right or from opposite side of table since light reflection "plays tricks".
We do our best to respond to emails as quickly as possible but be aware that it may take one or two days before you receive a response to your inquiry. IF you don't hear from us, please follow up with a phone call or send a second inquiry.
