PLASTIC DRAWER REPLACEMENT with “KIT”: $80

• Cabinet Quality Drawer Box of 1/2" Baltic Birch, preassembled and prefinished.
  
  • Drawer $60 drawer box
    plus $20 "Kit" hardware or $80 total to RE-USE your existing center track system, but we can't guarantee it will work because of such a variety of tracks that seem to exist.
  • Kit includes plastic "C" clip for fitting to back of wood drawer to use with existing track, and pair of wheels for front for drawer to roll on.
  • One drawer minimum.
  • ANY SIZE UP TO 5" HIGH AND 24" WIDE
  • Specify your required measurements of boxes (not openings) needed
    

• Be sure your track still inside cabinet is in good shape.
• Your existing track has a width of NORMALLY 3/4". IF 1" we need to know what it actually is.
• We encourage you to remove the track in order to get accurate measurements.
• New drawer will be 18" deep front/back, same as plastic ones.
• The back of the wood drawer receives a specialty sized drawer track clip that can be used with the pre-existing plastic track still inside the cabinet. $10 per clip with screws.  Part of Kit. Miinimum of 3 such kits if ordered by themselves.
• We now supply the pair of wheels for mounting inside the front face frame for $10 per pair.   Part of the $20 kit. We no longer supply the brown nylon "L" glides for the inside of the cabinet face frame left & right for drawer to slide on. The wheels are better. Miinimum of 3 such kits if ordered by themselves.
• IF client has more than one plastic drawer, and one fails, it is strongly recommended they replace all that are used much since the rest will likely fail shortly. Plastic ages.
• Easy enough to install but clumsy. At most we advise readjustment of height of back glide might be required to get the drawer box to hang level.
• Drawer front and handle transfer and alignment is up to the client. Generally center left/right and up/down. Drill holes thru front of new box and attach actual drawer front with screws from behind. If you have a handle, then drill thru the old front thru the box and install the handle with a longer bolt.
• Any slide system hardware consumes space. If you want to convert to a metal side roller then you must advise us AND then provide the size of the actual box you need.
• IF you do not have the plastic track above the existing plastic drawer, you must advise us.
• IF you have a wheel on the back of the plastic drawer, you must advise us. We can not supply an alternative to the wheel structure.
