then take a picture from the back also showingthe other side.
Take a close up of any details or repairs needed. It is that simple.
If you do not know if the seat is hand or woven cane, take a picture of the seat from the bottom.

We must advise that bids for RECANING from emailed pictures are only approximate until the actual items is seen.
It is possible some wood repair will also be required. A bid to recane does not include any physical repairs or finishing work. They will be quoted only upon actual inspection.
RE-CANING WORK IS DONE IN BATCHES FOR QUALITY AND COST CONTROL:
We schedule a batch for items that are here to start normally twice each month. Most items are completed in 2 or 4 weeks.
Such work can not be completed "on the spot", so plan ahead.
Press caning is usually done in 2-4 weeks
Hand caning is usually done in 4 +/- weeks.
Add one week if we are to finish the new cane to match other old cane.
Rush rope and Split Ash is usually done in 4 +/- weeks.
Other special requirements are determined when known.
